Harrison District 2 Mobile IV Therapy

Understanding HPI Benefits with IVTherapy2goUploaded Image

When dehydration or another medical concern leaves you feeling unwell, traveling for care may feel difficult. IVTherapy2go™ provides medically guided mobile IV therapy for eligible patients in approved Texas service areas.

Harrison School District 2’s publicly available 2025–2026 benefits guide identifies HPI as the medical plan administrator and lists EHN and FirstHealth PPO as medical networks.

IV therapy coverage depends on medical necessity, the diagnosis, provider participation, authorization requirements, and the services administered. Always verify benefits before scheduling.

What Does the Published Medical Guide List?

The district’s publicly available 2025–2026 guide included access to:

  • Pinnacle Advanced Primary Care

  • Employers Health Network

  • FirstHealth PPO Network

  • Pathways Concierge

  • Call-A-Doc telemedicine

  • TrueScripts prescription benefits

The guide listed:

  • $0 deductible through EHN

  • $2,000 deductible through FirstHealth PPO

  • $70 urgent care copay through EHN

  • $70 urgent care copay through FirstHealth

  • $0 out-of-pocket maximum through EHN

  • $5,000 out-of-pocket maximum through FirstHealth

These amounts do not establish the cost of IV therapy. IV fluids, medications, supplies, procedures, laboratory testing, and professional services may be processed separately.

The figures come from a plan guide covering July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Current coverage must be verified directly with HPI.

Can Harrison District 2 Employees Use IVTherapy2go?

Eligible employees and covered family members may be able to use IVTherapy2go when they are located within an approved Texas service area and the provider and requested treatment are covered under their current plan.

A medical evaluation is necessary to determine whether IV therapy is appropriate. Depending on the patient’s condition, treatment may include:

  • Clinical evaluation for dehydration

  • IV fluids when medically appropriate

  • Certain medications ordered by the medical provider

  • Monitoring during treatment

  • Follow-up instructions

  • Referral to a higher level of care when needed

Insurance does not necessarily cover elective wellness hydration or every type of infusion. Coverage generally depends on medical necessity and the plan’s exclusions and limitations.

Call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room for severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, signs of a stroke, fainting, confusion, uncontrolled bleeding, severe dehydration with altered mental status, major trauma, or another life-threatening emergency.

How Do I Verify IV-Therapy Benefits?

Before scheduling, contact HPI or Pathways Concierge using the information on your current medical card. The published guide lists Pathways Concierge at (888) 341-6810.

Ask:

  • Does IVTherapy2go participate with my current plan?

  • Which network applies to the visit?

  • Is mobile IV therapy covered at my location?

  • What diagnoses or medical-necessity requirements apply?

  • What copay, deductible, or coinsurance will I owe?

  • Are IV fluids, medications, supplies, and laboratory tests processed separately?

  • Is prior authorization required?

  • Does the plan exclude elective or wellness hydration?

  • Will I have a time-of-service responsibility?

Write down the representative’s name, the date, and the reference number.

IVTherapy2go can collect your insurance information, but HPI determines the official benefits and final claim outcome.

Is Prior Authorization Required?

Some IV medications, infusions, or related services may require prior authorization.

Contact HPI before treatment to determine whether authorization is needed. If approval is required, ask for:

  • The authorization number

  • Approved service codes

  • Effective dates

  • Approved number of visits

  • Participating provider requirements

  • Location restrictions

Authorization does not guarantee claim payment. Eligibility, medical necessity, network participation, exclusions, and other plan provisions still apply.

What Should I Prepare for My Visit?

Please prepare:

  • Your current Harrison School District 2 insurance card

  • A photo identification card

  • A list of medications and supplements

  • Known medication or food allergies

  • Relevant diagnoses

  • Recent laboratory results

  • Medical records related to the requested treatment

  • Referral or authorization documents

  • A description of your symptoms

  • The date your symptoms began

  • Your preferred pharmacy information

Please provide a safe, clean area for the medical visit and secure pets before the team arrives.

IVTherapy2go uses a three-hour arrival window. The medical assistant will send a message when they are on the way.

Medically Guided Hydration Brought to You

IVTherapy2go helps eligible patients receive medically appropriate hydration care without adding the stress of traveling to a clinic. The medical team will review your symptoms and determine whether mobile IV treatment or a higher level of care is appropriate.

Review the HPI Insurance Page, then Book a Mobile Visit or call (817) 508-8169. Have your current insurance card available so eligibility, benefits, network participation, and authorization requirements can be reviewed before the visit.
